Oakland Voices
In 2017 Hannah (Cali Cowrie) was accepted to the Oakland Voices Community Journalism Fellowship created by former Oakland Tribune columnist Brenda Payton and Martin G. Reynolds a project of the Robert C. Maynard Institute for Journalism Education. Over the course of 10 months Hannah participated in trainings and workshops at the Institute for Investigative Reporting, producing a story per month for and by the people of Oakland California.
